Discovery walk with llamas/alpacas

Here are some details to help you prepare for a pleasant and comfortable ride for everyone:

The tour will be accompanied and guided throughout by Aurélie. Adults are required if there are children of any age. All adults must reserve an entrance.

The walks are done with one animal for every 2 people for children from 6 to 9 years old or smaller to ensure the comfort of both participants and animals. Children over 10 years old can be entrusted with an animal alone, however it is recommended that an adult always be available to accompany the child if necessary. Aurélie will adapt the choice of animals according to the composition of the group.

Children under 6 years old do not hold the animals' leashes but still participate in the walk and in the interactions about and with the animals. Aurélie adapts this rule according to the predispositions of each child and can adjust it if the instructions are well understood by the child(ren).

Free for children under 6 years old.Maximum 2 children under 6 years old per group. It is essential to have 1 adult free to take care of these children during the outing. The accompanying adult will not have to hold an animal, but rotations between adults are possible at any time during the outing.

Children under 6 must be indicated in the reservation even if it is free for them.

Babies must be carried during the walk; strollers are not suitable for the paths taken.

These walks require compliance with certain rules. Llamas and alpacas are very different from our equine friends (donkeys and ponies); they are creatures that are not handled in the same way and do not have the same attitudes. Our animals are not ridden; we share the walk with them to better observe and communicate with them.

Aurélie will guide you through the process to help you gain confidence. Then she will take you on a walk through the beautiful countryside surrounding her farm.
